Brunch Is Not a Meal, It’s a Pace
Some mornings aren’t built for rushing. They’re built for a slow brunch in Ubud.
At FLOCK Bali, we treat it exactly that way. You sleep off the early alarm, wander into town when you feel like it, and sit down somewhere that won’t hurry you back out the door. That’s the whole idea. If you’re looking for brunch in Ubud, the slow and lingering kind, this is the table we built for it.
A Table Built for Indecision
The best part of brunch is not having to choose. So we don’t make you.
Our kitchen runs sweet and savoury side by side, from 7am to 2pm. Build a table around:
- Something savoury: Eggs Benny, poached eggs and hollandaise on an English muffin
- A sweet thing: French Toast with chocolate ganache, banana and strawberry
- Something fresh: the Biggie Avo Toast, or a Dragon Bowl if you’re keeping it light
Almost everything is made right here in the kitchen, with local ingredients. That’s the difference between a plate you finish and a plate you photograph first. Have a look at the full menu and mix your own.
Stay for the Coffee (You’ll Order Two)
No brunch is complete without good coffee. Ours pulls its weight.
We roast two house blends and take the coffee more seriously than is probably healthy. Order a flat white and you’ll see. Want yours with a bit of theatre? Our signature menu hides a Breakfast Negroni and a Banoffee, both built on house-made cold brew. No alcohol, all drama.
Not in a coffee mood? Our house-brewed kombucha (Pineapple Ginger, Jasmine Apple and friends) is bright, fizzy and a little wild. It does something lovely against a warm Ubud morning
Brunch in Ubud Should Never Be Rushed
Ubud isn’t a fast town. People walk, browse, stop for coffee, sit longer than they planned.
So we made our brunch to match that pace. Here’s when it works best:
- A proper meal after a slow start
- Something filling without feeling heavy
- A long table with friends and no schedule
- A coffee you’re in no hurry to leave
It’s not trying to be fancy. Just food that fits the morning.
If You’re Sticking Around
Brunch is only the start. If you’re hanging on, or already plotting tomorrow:
Up early after all? We do a proper breakfast too, sweet side and savoury side both. We made the full case for it here.
Breakfast or brunch, what’s the difference? Fair question on holiday. We settled it here.
Pick a Morning With Nowhere to Be
Don’t overthink it. Pick a morning with nowhere to be, walk in, and order the eggs and the sweet thing.
The best brunch in Ubud isn’t complicated. It’s just a good table you’re in no rush to leave.
